The Lord called me to repentance and faith near the end of college, in large part through my beautiful future wife, Leah. She challenged my weak views of God and Jesus Christ and forced me to think through the Bible’s claims. 10 months later, we were married. Now, I live in Cincinnati, OH with Leah and our son, Seth, born in December of 2008, and our daughter, Emma, born March of 2010.

This blog started back in April of 2008 as basically a repository for things I would find online that I wanted to share with Leah. I posted stories, articles, essays, videos, etc. Every now and then, I would post some personal reflections on things. Over time, I did a couple book reviews. Now, I get a decent amount of books for free to review (some music as well). Since I was already reading most of these books anyway, I figured I might as well review them and get them for free.

So now this blog is a hodge-podge. You'll see reviews here and there. You'll see other things I find interesting. I'm finding a lot of people out there have similar stories to me (grew up in a Christian home, discovered Reformed theology in their early 20s, passionate about theology, etc.). Those seem to be the people who are interested in the things I post.
